Note that MAPPS, while providing assistance in entering data, does require significantly more information than the previous course proposal forms. This is clearly an up-front cost. However, the benefit is that it gives data which can potentially be used for other useful purposes, such as semi-automatic generation of Course Outlines, input to term planning, direct update of Handbook and NSS data. MAPPS was developed in CSE in conjunction with Academic Administration, COFA and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Feedback welcome.
